DESIGN-BUILD PERIOD

Design-Build Team

The design-build team (led by MCN and PEA) not only shares PGCPS's commitment to supplier diversity and inclusion but also has a successful track record of local business and MBE inclusion in the region. MCN is headquartered locally and has made substantial investments in Prince George's County including the establishment of an office in Riverdale Park, headquarters for MCN Build Mid-Atlantic, a County Based Business (CBSB-21-1287), as well as acquired a warehouse, and construction yard in the County. Additionally, to support MCN and PEA, PEP has partnered with RSC and RMc, an MBE that is in the process of finalizing a lease on new office space in the County.

Community Outreach (TB&A)

PEP’s communications partner, TB&A, will lead the effort to effectively engage Prince George’s County and the PGCPS Community, leveraging their regional communications experience. PEP's goal for the Community Equity Investment Program (CEI) is to provide the community with a unique opportunity to share in the future of Prince George’s County public education by providing direct investment in infrastructure development. The CEI Program is developed using collaborative community engagement, innovative financing strategies, and industry best practices. PEP’s management approach in developing this program is based upon building relationships and long-term alignments with community place-based organizations and individuals. Ultimately, the goal of the CEI Program is to create a direct opportunity for real, long-term community buy-in to this generational opportunity. Program Overview Critical to the execution of the CEI Program is the development of a marketing and outreach strategy that is tailored specifically to Prince George’s County and the school community within.
